Russell discovered his interest in developmental biology during his undergrad at McMaster University, where he graduated from the Honours Integrated Science (Biology Concentration) in 2026. His summer project uses iPSCs to investigate the epigenetic machinery in neural tube differentiation. After the summer, Russell will be starting his Masters in Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto. Outside the lab, he loves going out to cafes and bookstores!
