Yi Pan received her PhD in Molecular Biology from Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS), where she studied the regulation of novel growth dependent genes. She subsequently completed her Postdoctoral Fellowships at the University of Toronto and McMaster University, where she extended her focus to neuroscience. Her research areas of expertise include understanding gene expression regulation of alcohol addiction in CNS, deciphering drug-induced signaling mechanisms in neurodegenerative diseases, as well as investigating neurodevelopmental disorders using cultured human pluripotent stem cells and organoids.
She is working on research projects using human pluripotent stem cells and organoids as models in Dr. Ashley Libby’s lab as research associate/lab manager.
